Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is a systematic process by which an organisation agrees where it wants to be at some point in the future, and determines the priority activities that will assist it to get there. The process is most effective when it:

  • Starts with the preferred future in mind
  • Identifies what the organisation will not be doing as much as what it will be doing, and
  • Results in a plan that is actually used on a regular basis.

We use a variety of approaches to assist groups to conduct strategic planning exercises, including strategic foresight techniques such as scenarios.

Forest Hill has successfully completed strategic planning exercises across numerous industries and organisations, including the wool, sheepmeat and wine sectors, Greenlife Industry Australia, and the Voice of Horticulture.
